Hampton Burger

Firstly a disclaimer: this was NOT a practice burger for Dub, OK?

Zombie and crew descended on Deb's palace for dinner and Dub put his hand up to present a very classy burger. Lamb patties with some secret herbs and spices, innovative use of the eggplant, tzatziki a and freshies all came together for a burger which I will describe as TASTY.

MmmHmm That's a Tasty Piece of Art

So, finished the entry for the Linden postcard exhibit and delivered it today. The gallery will be showing it from 3rd Feb until 17 March at 26 Acland St, St Kilda. If you go there on the day of the St Kilda festival (11th Feb) then they have live bands and beers in the front garden. Try and check it out as it looks more striking in real life, plus the 1500-odd other entries are often fantastic!

don't call me whiting, blogger!

The crew got back together for the first all-in day for 07.

Really nice day at Jan Juc but 20 knots onshore and a surf comp in the choice takeoff didn't really make for perfect conditions. Dub revelled as expected. Glov and Serge put in a nice late effort. Jol's day was cut a little short by a visit to the surf skool to see how sis Liz was going (swimmingly by all accounts) Zombie was out of action but took some shots from the latest Jan Juc expedition below. Will let these do the talking.

Post-surf burgers were at the Jan Juc Fish & Chipper, providing some tasty fish burgers -- probably worth the half-hour wait. And remember, whiting may be small but they sure is tasty!
